Struggling with flyers?
The problem might not be your aim—it could be your grip or trigger press. Slow-fire shooting exposes the truth. Walk the Line is a diagnostic drill that leaves nowhere to hide and helps shooters build rock-solid fundamentals.

Drill Breakdown:
The Walk the Line – Slow Fire Drill is all about precision feedback. You’ll use the vertical line on the Fusion Target as a guide to assess shot placement consistency. Any shot off that line shows you exactly what needs work.
Target: Fusion Target (Vertical Line)
Range: 5 yards
Start Position: Low Ready
Rounds: 5 deliberate rounds
Objective: Fire along the vertical line with zero deviation. Each shot should stack neatly on the line.
This drill trains trigger control, grip stability, and sight tracking—foundational skills for every shooter from beginner to expert.

Pro-Tip:
Keep your eyes on the front sight through the recoil. If it bounces off the line—even slightly—you’re dealing with grip pressure issues or inconsistent trigger movement. Adjust accordingly and re-run the drill to validate.
