Five shots. One zone. No excuses.
This drill isn’t just about getting hits—it’s about getting them fast and clean. If you had one string to prove your control under pressure, this is it. Five rounds. One A-Zone. Zero forgiveness.

Drill Breakdown:
The High 5 -Center Mass drill is your recoil management gut check. From 7 yards, fire five rapid shots into the IDPA Chest Zone of the Fusion Target. The goal? Keep all five in the center under speed.
Target: Fusion Target (A-Zone / Center Mass Hex)
Range: 7 yards
Start Position: High Compressed Ready or from the beep (timer start)
Rounds: 5
Focus: Speed + sight return. Ride the recoil, don’t fight it. Each shot should be a controlled snap, not a panic slam.
This is your test for sight tracking, grip pressure, and follow-through discipline under time.
Pro-Tip:
Don’t “machine gun” it. See the sights lift and settle after every shot—even if it’s only for a split second. Recoil is real. Pretending it’s not won’t help you. Control it. Ride it. Own it.
SHOw us your shots!
Run it cold. No warm-ups, no excuses. Land all 5 in the A-Zone on your first go? Screenshot that beauty and tag @The_PewLifestyle with #FusionTargetDrills. Let’s see your pressure performance.
