Don’t just extend the gun—drive it.
Most shooters coast their pistol out to extension like they’re offering it up for inspection. This drill trains aggressive presentation with visual urgency and deliberate intent. You’re not handing the gun out… you’re driving it to dominate the sight picture.

Drill Breakdown:
The Driving the Gun – Single Shot Drill helps shooters develop a purposeful presentation from a high compressed ready into the hex zone of the Fusion Target. The goal? Train your eyes to snap to the target and your hands to follow with decisive sight alignment and trigger press.
Target: Fusion Target (Hex Zone)
Range: 5-7 yards
Start Position: High Compressed Ready
Rounds: 5 reps (1 shot per rep)
Focus: Drive the gun out with intent and precision. Each rep should be its own focused execution—like a first shot in a real-world encounter or match.
You’re teaching your body to get to the fight now, not after a leisurely extension.

Pro-Tip:
Your eyes lead, your hands follow. Snap your eyes to the target first, then drive the gun out like it’s locked on rails. Avoid lazy push-outs—this is about assertive movement paired with clean trigger work.
